DBA Breakfast Meeting
Nov. 12, 7:30 a.m. King’s Southern Delight, 4958 Redan Rd., Stone Mountain. Come and network with other attorneys! Breakfast will be provided. Thank you to sponsor Randy Brown from Intelligent Business Solutions.
 

DeKalb Bar November Luncheon
Nov. 19, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Old Courthouse on the Square, 101 E. Court Square. Guest speaker will be Senior Judge Dorothy Toth Beasley, State of Georgia, and Court of Appeals of Georgia, 1984-1999. Judge Beasley will speak on Impunity Arrested – International Response to International Crimes.

Food service begins at 11:30 a.m. You must RSVP by noon on the Monday before the Thursday luncheon. But if your plans change after you RSVP, please let us know if you will not be able to make it so that we do not buy you a place at the table that will go unused. Lunch is $5 for current members who RSVP by noon on the Monday before the luncheon. Other attendees and members who fail to RSVP on time will pay a fee: $15 for members who do not RSVP; $20 for all nonmembers/guests. These fees are based on the extra charge the DBA must pay when we add seats above our initial reservation.
 

Education and Leadership Day 
Dec. 5, 11 a.m.-1p.m. 
On the square in downtown Decatur

Enjoy educational plays, public speakers, music and food for the community at this inaugural DeKalb Bar Association community leadership event. Governmental agencies, along with the DeKalb County fire and police departments, have provided their support for this date. All attendees are asked to bring sporting goods or art supply items to donate to the Boys and Girls Clubs of DeKalb.
 

Holiday Party
Thursday, Dec. 10, 6:30-9:30 p.m. Michael David’s at Magnolia Cottage and Gardens. 5459 E. Mountain St., Stone Mountain. Cost is $30 for members in advance or $40 at the door. Members may bring one non-member guest at the member rate. Non-members are $45. Invitations will be mailed in November. RSVPs are due by Thursday, Dec. 3.

The DeKalb Bar Association is sponsoring the Boys and Girls Clubs of DeKalb this year. We ask that all attendees bring an unwrapped gift, from the list to be provided soon, to help ensure these children have a wonderful holiday season.
