From the President: A Lawyer’s Responsibility

Being a member of the state bar or local bar places a certain responsibility on our members. It seems each day the news is filled with examples of professionals who practice law behaving badly. It is our responsibility to remind our fellow Georgians why the American tradition of due process is important. I believe it is a lawyer’s basics responsibility to educate members of our community on what attorneys do to not only protect their legal rights but also ensure the reliability of our peaceful society. Remember we can be an example to our neighbors and friends when no one else is looking.
