September Family Law Breakfast Recap
The theme for our September breakfast was Back to School, and attorney Neeru “Nina” Gupta, an attorney who specializes in education law, discussed common issues that schools experience with custody orders. Nearly every child attends school, yet the vast majority of custody orders lack the details that schools need. Mrs.Gupta explained to the group what schools look for in custody orders.
Mrs. Gupta is a partner with Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, where she focuses her practice on education law, representing public and private educational entities, vendors, and professionals. She works directly with governing boards regarding effective policy development and compliance. She also focuses on disability and discrimination law, handles a range of employment issues, and assists her clients in handling a variety of day-to-day student and operational issues. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan School of Law.
Breakfast was catered by Oakhurst Market.
