The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit seeks applications from all highly qualified candidates for a 14-year appointment as U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Georgia at Atlanta.

Atlanta Bar Association Seeks Executive Director
The Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association has announced a national search for a visionary, collaborative leader to serve as its next executive director. The anticipated start date is May 15, 2012.
Founded in 1888, the 6,000-member Atlanta Bar is the Southeast’s largest metropolitan bar association. Its mission is to promote professionalism and the fair administration of justice in the community and to provide programs and benefits that serve its diverse membership.
Duties: Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the executive director manages the bar’s 14-person staff and oversees its 21 sections and numerous committees and activities. The Atlanta Bar Association executive director also works closely with the executive director of the Atlanta Bar Foundation.
The executive director will provide superior leadership and management in board relations, external relations, strategic leadership, operational management, and organization development. For a complete list of job duties, see the position description.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) required. Advanced degree (e.g., in administration, business, or law) a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
- Significant senior-level management experience
- Successful experience in key executive areas such as finance, program administration and implementation, and personnel management
- Experience working in or with the legal profession
- Demonstrated familiarity with new technologies and social networking
