The DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Council will be holding a meet and greet event at the DeKalb County Juvenile Court on Thursday, Jan. 11 from 3-5 pm. The DeKalb County Juvenile Justice Council, Inc. (DCJJC), is a new, independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to support the youth and family focused programs of the DeKalb County Juvenile Court and the community served by the court.
The DCJJC is working to raise financial and community support for the Juvenile Court programs designed to redirect children who come into contact with the juvenile justice system, promote their education, protect the best interests of the children and the community, and restore the lives of children who have been neglected or abused.
Please plan to attend this event on Thursday, Jan. 11, and meet and mingle with the DCJJC board of directors, juvenile court judges, court staff, attorneys and others involved with the juvenile court. For more information about the DCJJC or the meet and greet, contact Maggie Lawson (404-375-3439) or Bob Altman (404-892-8766).
