DeKalb Bar Association Welcomes New Editor

The DeKalb Bar Association is proud to announce that Jessica Lee Reece will serve as the editor of the newsletter for 2013-2014. Jessica practices exclusively in the area of family law with the law firm of Hedgepeth, Heredia, Crumrine & Morrison, LLC (HHCM Family Law). Prior to practicing at HHCM Family Law, Jessica practiced as an associate at the law firm of Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.

Jessica received her undergraduate degree in newspaper journalism from the University of Georgia and her J.D. degree from Georgia State University. Prior to practicing law, Jessica worked as a magazine development coordinator for Morris Communications and served as editor-in-chief of LOUNGE, a monthly magazine based in Augusta, Georgia. In addition to practicing law, she is a frequent author; her writing has most recently been in Creative Loafing (Atlanta), the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Manner & Lane, among others. Jessica is also active in the local community. She currently serves as board president of Generation Green of the Georgia Conservancy, as well as on the board of trustees for the Georgia Conservancy and on the board of the Wylde Center (Oakhurst Garden).  She is also involved with Georgia Organics, One Love Generation and WonderRoot.
