Announcements: Two Happy Hours and a Save-the-Date

Please join the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) Public Affairs Committee for a Legislative Preview Happy Hour event sponsored by Troutman Sanders LLP. GAWL has asked several organizations to present their legislative agendas for the upcoming Georgia Legislative Session. We encourage attendees to arrive at 5:30 p.m. to network, get a drink, and enjoy some light fare. Beginning at 6 p.m., each organization will briefly present its legislative agenda. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the organizations and learn more about their specific agendas following the presentations.

This event is free for GAWL members and $10 for nonmembers. The $10 fee for nonmembers will be waived for anyone who joins GAWL that evening. Please register online for this event by Monday, Nov. 12. For more information visit GAWL.org.

DeKalb Bar/YLD Happy Hour Nov. 15

The DeKalb Bar Association and the Young Lawyer’s Division of the DeKalb Bar will host a sponsored happy hour Nov. 15, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Marlay House, 426 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., in downtown Decatur. DeKalb Bar members may pre-register online at dekalbbar.org for this free event. Nonmembers are welcome to attend.
